FIREWOOD AND KINDLING FOR SALE
We supply quality barn-stored and air seasoned wood and offer hardwood (slower burning), softwood or mixed loads. Both hard and softwoods are an ideal source of sustainable fuel and suitable for open fires and wood burning stoves. Logs are supplied as 25cm (10 inch) lengths. Our logs are all sourced locally, the by product of tree maintenance operations in the Rugby area throughout the year. Our storage barn is also local, so you can be reassured that the wood has not travelled far to reach your door – or barge as we are able to supply to canal side! We are environmentally friendy, only ever air-drying our wood, which means we do not rely on heat sources (kilns) to extract moisture.
Delivery is free to households and businesses within a ten mile radius of central Rugby. Distances over ten miles are charged at 40p per additional mile with a minimum charge of £5.00 applied).
We supply our logs as loose loads, which are full loads or half loads. A load is a transit tipper load, so very large indeed! We also supply kindling in large netting bags.
WOOD MULCH (WOOD CHIPPINGS)
This is an ideal material for use as mulch in gardens and vegetable plots to provide weed suppression and to retain soil moisture. We also recommend mulch for natural garden paths and chicken pens.
Mulch can be delivered as a loose load (transit tipper load), however it is possible to arrange for delivery of one cubic metre bulk bags (this is bigger than a building supplies 1 tonne sandbag). Please phone us to discuss requirements and prices.
